Pre-employment screening

Our pre-employment tests assess the fitness and suitability of potential employees. We assist you in making informed decisions by ensuring candidates meet the necessary health and safety standards for their roles. Additionally, we establish a baseline of their health for monitoring, screening, and protection purposes. Our tests instil confidence that your workforce is well-prepared to carry out their responsibilities safely and effectively.

Drug Testing

Urine testing allows the employer to identify employees who may have used drugs and could represent a risk to the workplace’s safety.

Health Monitoring

Respirator Fit Testing

Life Care’s Respirator Fit Testing tests the fit of the half face respirator (disposable or reusable) as required by AS/NZS 1715. These tests should be conducted annually (as a minimum).

Fatigue Assessment

The Life Care Fatigue assessment will help to determine if an individual (or groups of individuals) experience moderate to high fatigue and/or excessive sleepiness.

Injury Management

Injury management is an integral part of health and safety compliance in New Zealand. Life Care Injury Management will enable you to actively support the assessment and rehabilitation of your workplace injuries. This is achieved by minimising disruption to your business and supporting your injured employees to achieve a safe and early return to productivity.

Flu Vaccinations

Protect your employee’s health and your organisation’s productivity. If one of your team falls sick with the flu and then goes to work, that person is considered a hazard in the workplace under the NZ Health & Safety at Work Act 2015.

Health Check Follow-up

This additional service offers up to three follow-up phone calls to selected employees e.g. those with safety critical risk or high fatigue outcomes at their health assessment. A clinical team member will encourage and partner with your employees for improved understanding of risks and uptake of referrals.
